Sports: DBGI has got a well established sports department with qualified staff. It has got play grounds for indoor and outdoor games and sports equipment for conduct of competitions at university level. The regular and systematic practice of various sports and games is carried out in the evening as a result of this the performance of our students in sports competition at university and All India Inter university level has been excellent. This activity has resulted in development of team sprit in students and their better personality development resulting in enhanced placement of the students with reputed companies.
Library: The Library is well–stocked with a wide range of books, journals, news papers, statistics, periodicals, prescribed titles and the reference material. It is available to students from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm every day. The library catalogue containing details of all titles held is maintained for quick reference. A large number of journals are also available on regular subscription and more are on the way. The Institute has a well – stocked library, consisting of reading rooms, references and lending sections. The Institute library has nearly 25,000 books and more than 11,000 titles in the field of Engineering and Humanities. Along with a rich collection of journals and periodicals on different topics, the library also has a wide and relevant collection of CD ROMs on various related subjects. The library can boost of world wide data search through Internet and e-mail, VCP, colour TV, Audio-Visual aids on different subjects and reprographic facility available to the students. A separate Digital Library has been established with membership of DELNET, INDEST,SPRINGER,IEEE etc which can access more then 1200 National / International Journals thousands of publications.
Hostel Facility
DBGI offers separate magnificent hostels for boys and girls with hostel warden in each hostel to supervise day to day management. All the rooms have been designed to provide adequate moving space and ample air and light. Each hostel has its own mess providing hygienic and nutritious meals three times a day.
