Kempegowda Institute of Management Studies and Research is an Institution affiliated to Bangalore University was started in the year 1993-94. The object of the institution is to provide educational opportunities to employees of Bangalore City, who could not pursue higher education during their student days. The College was accredited with B grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in the year 2005. It has been recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) and 12B to receive financial assistance for the development of infrastructure of the College.
Kempegowda institute of management of studies and research has a placement and career guidance cell. The cell is very active in conducting campus recruitment and providing placement to the students of final year B.Com and B.A.it will de enhancing to B.B.M and B.C.A.
