The P.G. Department of Computer Science & Technology established in the year 1995-96 with the permission given by AICTE New Delhi for starting MCA programme. This Department is attached to the Degree College of Physical Education, which is recognized by UGC under section 2F and 12B and is accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade and is affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati. The UGC granted autonomous status to this college, this is the only college of its kind having this status in the whole Country.The college is well known in the field of sports & physical education in the country. It is managed by Shree Hanuman Vyayam Prasarak Mandal, which has a living history of 92 years.

Computing Facility:The computing facility available in the department satisfy the need of MCA students. At present there are 97 computer systems available in the Laboratory. The server based machine is provided to established network of systems in the laboratory. All necessary softwares are available in sufficient no. of licenses. The department has subscribed Microsoft academic alliance. Therefore there is no deficiency of softwares and other computing facility.
Laboratories:Air Conditioned laboratories having computing facilities comprising - 100 PCs of latest configuration( P-IV and above) connected in LAN over WIN 2003 and Linux Networks S/ W Devt. Environments like Visual Studio, .Net, JAVA, Turbo C++, SQL server, IBM RAD, etc.
Hostel Facility
There are total nine hostels in the campus for boys. The MCA students are allotted accommodation in ‘Khaniwale Hostel’.There are six hostels in the campus for girls. The MCA students are allotted accommodation in ‘Rani Laxmibai Girls Hostel’
The placement activity of the department includes preparation of students for placement & communication with the companies for placement of the students. The department organize many activities like aptitude test, technical test, group discussions, mock interview etc. to prepare students for placement activity.
