With the prime aim to provide qualitative technical education in the state of Odisha ,Bharak Institute of Engg & Tech.was set up in the year 1997 ushering in a new era of technical education. Situated away from the madding crowd amidst the beauty and bounty of nature at Barapada, Bhadrak ,the place is truly an abode of excellence.
Library: The Institute has an excellent e-library that serves as a knowledge resource to the need of the teachers and students. It is a well–stocked library with more than 50,000 number of text books, 150 journals & periodicals of National and International repute. The library provides numerous e-documents and video courses that are prepared by reputed academicians. It also provides access to substantial records of books and articles published in national and international journals including inter-library LAN services through DELNET.
Canteen: The campus is self-contained with a canteen which provides hygenic food to both the students as well the staff members.
Gymnasium: A gymnasium, with modern imported equipment exists inside the campus. Two qualified Gym Instructors are available round the clock to train students specifically for their respective sports. The Gym has separate timings for men and women.
Hostel Facility
There are four separate hostels for boys and girls with all modern amenities to help the students in concentrating on their studies. Besides, PCs with Internet connectivity (Wi-Fi) is also provided in the hostels.
The Institute has its own placement cell. It maintains rapport with various potential employers, reputed MNCs, PSUs and apprises them of the level of knowledge, industry exposure, skills competencies acquired by its students in various technical and soft-skills areas.Learned experts visit the campus, share their enriched experiences & interact with the students giving them various tips/ techniques to suit the present day needs of MNCs.
