Padmabhooshan Vasantdada Patil Institute of Technology (PVPIT) started since 2006-07 is governed by TSSM’s (The Shetkari Shikshan Mandal) - a registered charitable trust. The college is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), New Delhi. Also recognized by Government of Maharastra - DTE (Director of Technical Education) and affiliated to University of Pune.

The T&P department believes that talent alone cannot suffice in today’s challenging environment and hence assembles various methods of training to the students, such as technical workshops, soft skills sessions, personalized lectures, counseling and much more.
