It is the brainchild and the enterprise of Dr. Vasudevan Pillai, an educator with 40 years experience and a reputation that saw him establish over 48 institutions from schools and colleges, to teachers' training institutes and colleges for Architecture, Engineering, Information Technology, Media, and Management Studies.

This two year course encourage students to ask challenging questions, learn how to learn, developa strong sense of their own identity and culture, develop the ability to communicate with and understand people from other countries and cultures. The IBDP includes six subjects. First Language, Second Language, individuals and society, Maths and Computer Science, Experimental Sciences and Visual Arts. Students will choose to study three of these at Standard Level and three at Higher Level. In addition students also complete an extended essay of 4000 words, they follow a Theory of Knowledge course where they explore the nature of knowledge across discipline and gain an appreciation for other cultural perspectives, and they participate in CAS- Creativity/Action /Service, which encourages students to be involved in artistic pursuits, sports and community service work.
