Established in 2011 by Raj Narayan Memorial Trust (RNMT), Maryland Institute of Technology & Management (MITM) is a fast growing professional college striving for holistic excellence in education to mould young, vibrant engineers. MITM is affiliated to Kolhan University, Chaibasa, Jharkhand and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The Maryland Institute of technology and Management is the brain child of Raj Narayan Memorial Trust.MITM is located in a serene atmosphere along National Highway 33 leading to Kolkatta from, Jamshedpur. It is situated on Burdman Road, approximately 3 Km from Galudih Chowk (located at NH33).
The academic block comprises of well lit and well ventilated modern class rooms, tutorial rooms, sophisticated and well equipped laboratories, drawing halls to assist in smooth running of day to day learning. A top quality computer laboratory with more than 150 high configuration computers with all the required licensed software installed on each. The Institute provides complete Wi-Fi Facility throughout the campus that enables users to access the central server remotely for shared data or for the internet from any location within the range of campus.
Hostel Facility
There are separate hostels for boys (in the campus) and girls (in the city). A serene atmosphere with utmost care and security is provided for students in the campus along with excellent mess facility, water purifier, playground and 24 hours electricity supply, which provides home environment along with delicious food comparable to homemade food. The kitchen and water are carefully supervised for cleanliness and hygiene.
Placement Service Available: The recruiting companies require the aspiring candidates to be proficient in Communication and presentation skills, well-groomed personality, and interpersonal skills so essential for the global players. MITM provides facilities for training the students in all the extra-academic aspects and skills required. The Training Department regularly conducts lectures, seminars and tests to develop these skills.
