National College of Polytechnic was established in year 2008. The institute is situated just 1 km from Jagadhri Bus Stand on Ambala Road, and is well connected by road and rail transport to all the near by states of North India i.e. Delhi, Chandigarh, Punjab, Himachal, Uttar Pardesh etc. National College of Polytechnic is well aware of the fact that effective communication skills together with well groomed personality paves the way to success. The Institute, therefore will conduct short term programmes to enhance communication skills and to develop the personality of the students. These will be achieved by exploiting the services of experts in the relevant field. The objective of the module on communications is to improve skills in oral, spoken and written English, the module on personality development emphasize grooming of individuals including appearance, manners, etiquettes and overall personality. Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities & Threats analysis is used for self-assessment, and consequent improvement.
The campus is located in green & pollution free peaceful environment condusive to the mental, spiritual and physical development of the students who come to join this fast growing institutions. The institute is striving hard to become a symbol of growth, progress, intellectual development of the students as well as contributing to the society, state and the nation. The Institute has well stocked library with around 5,000 latest books on different subjects. The Institute also subscribes to more than 50 National & International journals and periodicals. The Institute has spacious architecturally designed lecture and tutorial rooms, airy and electric gadgets, glossy chalkboards and flannel boards all intact, furnished with adequate modern furniture.
Hostel Facility
Separate hostel facility is available for girls and boys. The hostels are well furnished with all the modern facilities. Round the clock internet facility is available in the hostels.
NCP has an excellent Training and Placement Cell working under the able guidance of a highly experienced person from MNC’s like Birla Co-operation, J.K. Co-operation, Ambuja Co-operation, Sh. S.K. Goel, having rich experience in academic field as well. The students are trained through rigorous sessions like Personality Development, Interpersonal and Communication Skills, Mock interviews, Industrial visits, GD’s, Expert Lectures. The objective of the Placement Cell is to help the students plan for a bright career, maintaining liaison with prospective employers. Campus Recruitment Drives are undertaken by inviting companies from private, public and government sector to provide appropriate and timely career opportunities to our students. It is a matter of great pride that our more than 200 student s have been placed in Multi-National Companies.
