Lingaya's Institute of Health Sciences (Nursing) (formerly known as Paradise Nursing College) came under the agies of Lingaya's Jankalyan Shiksha Sansthan in 2007, a charitable society for promoting higher education in Engineering & Technology, Management & Health Sciences.
Library: The institute library is the hub of academic life of campus catering to the needs of faculty & students in full measure. It has a very rich collection & a wide range of books on various discipline LIHS (Nursing) has well stocked library having wide range of books on wide range of subjects by Indian as well as foreign authors like Medical, Surgical, Paediatrics, Maternity etc. with approx. 3657 books. The selection of books is not only confined to the subjects on syllabus but beyond the curriculum also it has a separate reading as well as reference section. The library also subscribes to many national and international journals of repute which keeps the students abreast with the latest trends in the profession. Constant addition of titles & volumes in all fields is a regular feature. The Library has a reprographic facilities. Library is kept open on all working days from 8:15 am to 4:15 pm
Computer Lab: The institute has a Excellent & Spacious Computer lab with internet facility. This enables the faculty as well as students to keep themselves abreast about the rapid changes going on in the field of Nursing and Health Care. The network has fiber optics bared backbone & campus is wi-fi enabled. Additional latest licensed software includes Oracle 8i, Photoshop, Office XP, and antivirus with round the clock Internet connectivity through 10 Mbps RF link.
Hostel Facility
LIHS has an excellent air-cooled hostel facility, with comfortable boarding and lodging. The hostel is well equipped with the facilities such as TV ,guest room,common room , sick bay , running hot water , gymnasium , library and internet connection etc. Each room comprises of furniture set of every student along with a PC with internet facility to give comfort and facility to the hostelers power of hostel is backed by generators.
