The establishment of Pravara Rural Polytechnic on 21st August 1981, symbolizes the ascendance of plateau of achievement of academic excellence, in dissemination of quality education from preprimary to collegiate level by Pravara Rural Education Society, ensconced at Loni, by Late Padmashri Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil in 1964.
Laboratories:The Institution has well equipped laboratories which are being continuously upgraded. The Institution has spent handsome amount for the establishment of various departments. The laboratories are fully equipped and satisfy the norms laid down by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi (AICTE) and Maharashtra State Board of Technical Examinations, Mumbai/ Directorate of Technical Education, M.S., Mumbai.
Library:Institution has a very well equipped Library with large number of books and technical journals. Library has a very good collection of reference books in addition to text books. Institute subscribes to over 60 technical and general magazines. Institute has Audio Visual Library CDs & cassettes on subjects of general interest as well as technical matters. The scheme of BOOK BANK for the poor and needy students is implemented.
Institution has a Training and Placement Cell which keeps liaison with industries at Nashik, Ahmednagar, Pune, Aurangabad etc. and helps in the placement of Final Year Diploma Students in suitable industries in addition to serving as placement cell, it arranges industrial training at various industries. The cell also guides the students who desires to start their own small scale industries. It identifies the members interested in self employment and arranges periodical seminars a special programmes for them as below.
