UICT (University Institute of Chemical Technology) of North Maharashtra University founded in the year 1994 (formerly known as University Department of Chemical Technology), has now established itself as center of academic excellence. Prof. Dr. S. Mishra is heading the Institute. University Institute of Chemical Technology, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon was established to cater the technological needs in the field of Chemical Technology and Chemical Engineering of the Khandesh region and Maharashtra as well.
The department has sophisticated instrumentation facility covering instrument of latest version.The Library, having 2000 books and 15 periodicals. The computer center has 40 P-IV PC?s with internet surfing facility through V-SAT as well as BSNL Broadband connection
Hostel Facility
The University provides separate hostel accommodation for boys and girls.
The main activity of the placement cell is to place the final year students in reputed organizations at the end of their study programme and also to arrange the industrial training of the prefinal year students during summer vacations.
