Smt. Kasturbai Walchand College was established on 20th June 1960 with the objective to provide the facility of higher education to students from Sangli city & nearby villages. college was affiliated to Poona University and after opening of Shivaji University, it is then affiliated to Shivaji University in the year 1963.
Library: Our central library plays an important role in the academic development of the college. This spacious library of our college has enormous collection of reference & textbooks. We have following sections in the library to provide information services to academic community.
