Serve Hitkari Shiksha Samiti came into existence on 19th June 1997 which is a promoter of quality education in Haryana specially in the rural areas. Initially, Society founded a senior secondary school under name and style of Maharishi Dayanand Senior Secondary School, Neemriwali. To fulfill the aim of building a strong base for technical qualified workforce., the society added a new feature in its wing under the name and style of Maharishi Dayand Polytechnic, Neemriwali, Bhiwani in the year 2007. The primary aim of the society is the sole devotion to the cause of social service and more so in the filed of technical education. To fulfill this aim the society started providing education with a total intake of 330 students in five branches of engineering, namely: Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
The Maharshi Dayanand Polytechnic Institute, is an epitome of higher learning imparting value-based, career-oriented professional and technical education. Over the years, it will grow into a leading educational centre in northern India widely recognized for its modern infrastructure, vibrant campus and academic excellence in the fields of technical education.The College is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and Govt. of Haryana. The institute is affiliated to Haryana State Board of Technical Education, Chandigarh to run 03 years Diploma in Engineering Courses.
The Institute has spacious architecturally designed lecture and tutorial rooms, airy and electric gadgets, glossy chalkboards and flannel boards all intact, furnished with adequate modern furniture. The institute has a modern, centrally air-cooled, computerized library with a lot of seating capacity. It is well-stacked with 15000 volumes and 4011 titles including Book Bank section. Under book bank scheme a complete set of text books in every semester are issued to each student.
Hostel Facility
The institute has separate hostel facilities for the girls and boys. The hostels are equipped with latest facilities of boarding for the students at nominal rate. The Boys hostel has a capacity of 300 students. The Girls hostel has a total capacity of 100 students.
The goal of Training & Placement Cell is to Provide employment opportunities and training to MD Polytechnic Students in Leading Orgainizations. The Cell is well equipped with ample infrastructre in Terms of Testing halls, Consultancy Hall for Pre Placement Talk, Presentations etc.Training has specific goals of improving oneās capability , capacity , and performance . It forms the core of apprenticeships and provides the backbone of content at institutes of technology.
It arranges training for students in industries for 6 weeks at the end of 4th Semester. Training is must for Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering Students.If Students of other Branches want to go for Training than we help those students as well. The students of the college undergo their training at various prestigious organizations as Haryana Roadways, Northern Region Farms & Machinery Tractor Training Institute (Hissar), Sadu Forging Faridabad, LPS Rohtak, NTPC, BVNL Haryana, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, Maruti Udyog Ltd., L&T,Havells, DRDO, CSIO, Ericsson, Siemens, Reliance Group, HCL, Samsung, LG etc. The students act as a channel of communication with industries.
