K. J. Somaiya Polytechnic, an Autonomous Institute, established in 1963, conducts programmes in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Industrial Electronics with grant-in-aid from Maharashtra Government. We also conduct Diploma Programme in Computer Engineering which is an unaided programme.All programmes are recognized by All India Council for Technical Education & equivalent to the diploma awarded by Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education.The polytechnic is managed by a Governing Body and has representatives from Government of India, Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education & the parent Somaiya Trust.
K. J. Somaiya Polytechnic have excellent laboratories, Library with over 15000 books and sports facilities for the overall development of our students.
