NLA is recognized by the Bar Council of India and affiliated to the University of Pune .NLA was established in the year 1994. It is a pre-eminent law institution which plays a unique role in shaping a law student's career. NLA provides an encouraging and a supportive environment in which an individual feels valued, grows in confidence and fulfills his/her potential for academic goals.
NLA Library provides resource of authoritative text and reference books, Law reports, Journals & Magazines. Library contains Halsbury’s Laws of England, Halsbury’s Law of India, All England Law Reports, AIR, S.C.C, MhLJ, Cri.L.J., L.L.J, Journal of Indian Law Institute, Indian Bar Review, Company Cases and many more. It also provides access to www.manupatra.com to help the students in their research activities. Apart from these, the ‘Law Super’ database has been added to the computers of the Library for the benefit of the students which contains Full text Central and State Acts and judgments of Supreme Court of India and all High Courts. This also covers certain unreported judgments directly collected from courts. The library has CDs related to all related subjects which are available for ready reference for the students.
