The establishment of Khandra College in the Andal Ukhra Coal Belt of West Bengal is the inevitable outcome of the unitiring effort of the local people led by late Amalendu Bakshi (Shankar Bakshi), who come forward in this mission.
library: The college library has now a stock of more than 15000 books of different subjects. Besides text books, the library had got reference books, journals and periodicals of every subject taught. The College is exerting efforts all possible ways for the enrichment of the library quantitatively and qualitatively. The college has received grants from E.C.L., Govt. of West Bengal & University Grants Commission for the improvement of the library. For Library Card a student is directed to contact the Librarian after his/her admission.
Canteen: Inside the college campus, there is a canteen which cater Sweets, Snacks, Tea etc. to the students & staff. The boys & Girls are expected to make best use of it.
Sports: The college provides facilities for indoor & outdoor games. Students may participate in Table Tennis, Volley Ball, Chess, Carom, Badminton and other indoor games during their break in classes. Annual sports is held at the end of winter.
