This course will train students of First Year Liberal Arts in social science academic writing skills. The purpose of the course is to act as a foundational writing course upon which students will then build skills required for other courses in the Liberal Arts programme. This may include, but is not limited to, Research Methodology, and Media and Journalism. Furthermore, the course will concentrate on both substance and style of writing, thus also training students’ critical and analytical skills.
