Kishinchand Chellaram College was established in 1954 under the aegis of the Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board, H(S)NCBoard. It was the second institution that the Management set up in Bombay after it relocated itself in the city, following the aftermath of Partition.
K. C. College Library is one of the largest libraries in the city having a collection of more than 55000 documents, 30 current journals and around 60 periodicals. It is fully automated using an integrated Library Software "Librarian Suite" and various library operations are computerized on LAN system. Web based Online Public Access Catalogue (WEB-OPAC) is accessible to the users by which Library users can browse the large collection of books in a very short time through the computer database. Library collection comprises Books, Reference Books, Maps, CD ROMs, Periodicals, and Reports etc. Every year the collection is strengthened by addition of latest books and various other publications. Library also maintains a good collection of rare books.
