National Dental College & Hospital was established in 1999 at village Gulabgarh, Dera Bassi, situated one km off the NH 22 i.e. Chandigarh – Delhi Highway by Medical Educational and Rural Welfare Society (Regd.). It is a charitable NGO which is fully committed to selfless service to human kind being served by dedicated retired Army Officers who have essential missionary zeal.
library: A full fledged library for Dental and Medical books and periodicals is available to the students for reference. The library holds an extensive range of monograph titles, large periodicals and audio visual collections and provide many electronic databases upon CD-ROMS Titles.
Computer center: The college has a computer center with Internet access, which provides computing resources for the students and staff. The objective is to provide access for our students users to all levels of computing as well as latest happening in the world through web.
Sports: There is provision of well maintained play-grounds for staff & students. Sports facilities like Badminton, Basketball, Table Tennis are being planned for the students. Swimming arrangements are also being tied up on nominal payment.
Hostel Facility
Separate hostel facilities are available for girls and boys with latest recreational facilities guided and funded mostly by NRIs, Doctors and Army officers. Students desirous of hostel facilities are advised to intimate their requirement at the time of admission. Situated at a 15 minutes drive from Chandigarh at Dera Bassi and in Chandigarh as per choice of the students. Co-operative mess and an excellent, hygienic food (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian) for students.
