The institution was established in the memory of Amardeep Singh Shergill, an illustrious student of London School of Economics, who passed away in the prime of his youth.
The library provides excellent reading room facility to the students. The well stocked , up to date library contains nearly 28000 books and subscribes to National and international journals.

Hostel Facility
The college provides facility of hostel to girl students,which can accommodate approx. 80 girls,apart from this, facilities such as Dispensary, Common Room and Mess are readily available at all the times for the girls residing inside it.
Scholarship Facility
The college provides many scholarships, free ships and prizes to help the economically weak and meritorious students.
