Pariyaram Dental College, Kannur was established in 2004 under Academy of Medical Sciences. A six-stories building, having a built-up area of 154,000 sq. ft., and is one of the biggest dental colleges in Kerala. The main aim of the college is to improve the overall health status of people of Kerala by providing comprehensive quality health care of high standards.
Lecture Halls: The institute has well furnished class rooms. Class rooms are supported by audio visual equipment like OHP's, LCD, pull down screens and public addressing systems with Cordless Microphones.
Laboratories: All departments have got spacious laboratories which are well equipped with state of art instruments.
Library: One of the best places in our campus that we can boost of is our Library. We have a collection of Books, Journals and CD's. The arrangement of the furniture and its positioning ensures total serenity. Apart from this we are associated with Academy of Medical Sciences Central Library which is the best among the Medical College Libraries of Kerala.
Sports: Sports Complex is shared over an area of 36,000 sq. mtrs. With facilities for Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis and Cricket at the same time in different venues. An Athletic Track of 8 lines is also available for students. The complex is located near the hostels and staff quarters. The second phase of the complex that includes pavilions with seating facilities, swimming pool, gymnasium etc. will be completed in a phased manner.
Campus has been provided with well maintained, hygienic canteen, which serves variety of menus including, Chinese, north Indian at subsidized rate.
Hostel Facility
Separate hostel facilities are available for male and female students in the campus.
