Meerut Institute of Engineering & Technology ,Kumaon,the fourth campus of (MIET Group) was established in the Year 2011.
The Institute library provides an extensive range of online and hard copy resources. It is organized on ‘Open Access System” having well rounded collection of approx 5000 volumes of books with 800 titles. These include text books, foundation books and books for subsidiary readings. Besides books on engineering and technology the library is fully equipped with books on Applied Science, Humanities and Social Sciences to enrich the knowledge of the students in liberal arts and humanities. Our aim has been to meet course books requirement of students in full measures and in this direction we procure multiple number of books by various authors on the same subject.
Hostel Facility
Separate on-campus Boys’ and Girls’ hostels are available now for the students. The students are provided with a cot, mattress, table, chair and almirah for their comfort. The mess shall run on a co-operative basis under the close supervision of the duly-elected student committee. The expenses incurred during the month shall be equally distributed amongst all residents.
MIET Group is renowned for providing all students with the required skills to excel in their careers. The system ensures a smooth transition from the class room to the work place. The students are instilled with a belief that with determination and hard work, they can accomplish whatever they set out to achieve.
