The Department of Education of Kurukshetra University, established in the year 1963, has been widening its horizon over the years in the field of education.
Library:The Department provides students with an in-house library facility which has about 400 books relating to teaching & research. Ph.D. thesis was also provided to the students for their help in the field of research.
Teaching Labs: The Department has labs i.e. Computer Lab and Psychological Lab Computer Lab are well equipped with Internet facilities and necessary software Test which have been frequently used by the students.
Other Facilities: The Department established Educational Technology Resource Centre with sponsorship from all India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). The objective of the Resource Centre was to provide training to the teacher of the educational institutions in utilizing educational technology for enriching the teaching learning process in their classrooms. The Department visualized to the facility of developing leaning material to Distance Education students of the University.
Past students are helped in placements as Lecture in various Colleges of Education.
On the campus selections were made for various public schools.
Special Education students (B.Ed. Special Education) are helped in procuring position as special teachers in inter- state special schools.
