KAMLA NEHRU INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (KNIT) SULTANPUR, was established by Govt. of Uttar Pradesh as a registered society in 1979 with a mission to advanced knowledge and educate students in Engineering & Technology and other areas of scholarship that will best serve the region and the nation. Initially institute was named as Kamla Nehru Institute of Science & Technology (Technological faculty) which was changed to KAMLA NEHRU INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, SULTANPUR in 1983

Lab:An innovation which supports the KNIIT curriculum, the Computer Lab concentrates on developing your personal and professional attributes to the fullest extent possible.
LIBRARY A well-equipped library fulfills all types of latest books, magazines, project reports and a large number of journals and numerous-software packages. There is a large collection of books by various Indian and Foreign authors for the various disciplines. On-line library facility is also a major part of our Institution.
Computer Lab:The KNIIT computer Lab is equipped with the latest computers connected to each other within a network via a server. It is a unique facility with large Software library, which gives students the healthy education environment to work and practice for hours.
Internet:24 hours Broad Band Internet facility, covering 50 numbers of computers in Local Network.

Hostel Facility
The Institute presently has five Boys’ Hostels to accommodate about 750 male students and Two Girls’ Hostel to accommodate about 200 Girl students.
