The Beltola College in its initial stage was managed by a Sponsoring Committee which was a registered society under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 No. 1467 of 1981, 1982 and the College had been functioning in the Ganesh Mandir Vidyalaya, Khanapara. Since 1988, the management of the College was entrusted to the Governing Body constituted by the Govt. of Asssam.The Beltola College came into existence in 1983 with the opening of P.U. Arts Stream after obtaining formal permission from the Gauhati University and required concurrence from the Govt. of Assam.
Library and Reading room: Beltola College has a library attached with a reading room. The library has procured about 7895 standard textbooks of different subjects and in addition it has a good member of periodicals. There are four National News Papers, Journals and Megazines both National and International standard.

Scholarship to the students belonging from ST, SC and OBC from the Government of Assam.
