The Department of English had its inception along with the College, in 1968. The founder teacher of the Department, Dr. B.T. Desai, a renowned scholar and critic, served the College for two years before leaving to occupy the post of Professor in CIEFL, Hyderabad.

Library : Our college library is well equipped. There are about 24,000 volumes on various subjects and nearly 40 periodicals both Indian and Foreign to provide knowledge to the students. Every student of the college is eligible to have one borrowers card which can be obtained from librarian on production of the identity card.

Hostel Facility
Hostel facilities are provided for boys and girls separately. Boys will be accomodated in Zeiglar Hostel and girls in Kittel Ladies Hostel.
