The college is affiliated to CCIM and recognised by The West Bengal University of Health Sciences. Having experience faculties with all the departments. The institute was established by famous freedom fighter Kaviraj Raghunath Maity. Situated at the heart of the Contai city with all modern facilities. The campus is surrounded by green herbal garden. The college is attached with a 100 bed hospital with all facilities IPD & OPD,Panchakarma unit, Surgical OT. It has central library, pathology, herbal garden with almost 250 different herbs, facilities of preparation medicine, regular desection of cadavers etc.

The college have separate Boy's and Girls Hostel, own canteen.
