The Institute of Advanced Studies in Education, Agartala has a long journey in its movement. Starting from 1964, it is still rendering a glorious service in teacher education area of Tripura. Initially, IASE was named as “Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary Teachers’ Training) College” abbreviated as B.T. (S.T.T.) College. It was first established in 20th July, 1964 under the affiliation of Calcutta University,WestBengal.
