The Department of Physical Education and Sports Technology was established in the year 2013. The main purpose of establishing this department was to upgrade the status of Physical Education by producing quality teachers and leaders through graduate and post graduate courses. Our superlative amenities and enviable educational links attract diverse students and we offer extensive options for graduate, post graduate and doctoral study. Department of Physical Education and Sports Technology is headed by Prof. (Dr.) Kanwaljeet Singh, a renowned Physical Educationist in the country along with young faculty of Physical Education and coaches. The Department of Physical Education & Sports Technology has established well equipped Athletics track, Basketball court, Volleyball court, Hockey, Football, Cricket ground in the university campus. The well-equipped gym is also made for the students. Well-equipped Physiotherapy lab is established for rehabilitation of players and students. More than 300 books related with Physical Education and Sports are available in university library along with online journals.
