The college is affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad. It was accredited first in the year 2005 (Feb) with ‘B+’ Grade and reaccredited with ‘A’ grade (3.02 CGPA) by NAAC in the year 2011. Our college is renewing and revamping its endeavors to improve quality in its activities so as to maintain and retain the highest grade awarded by the NAAC. The college was recognized by the UGC under 2(f) and 12(b) in 1972. The college functions in conformity of the policies of the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the guidelines issued by the Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Andhra Pradesh.
The college provides good library and laboratory facilities.
Library: The college library is well stocked and is geared towards the all-round development of the students. It opens from 9 A.M to 7 P.M on all working days. It has large collection of books with more than 42,000 volumes and 5000 titles on various disciplines. It has also subscribed for a number of National and International journals in all disciplines. The library has been automated. The library has a reading hall, reference room and a cell for journals and magazines. It is very proud to proclaim that the library provides better opportunity to students and staff in their professional growth as well as individual growth.
Hostel Facility
To facilitate accommodation for the stay of girl students, the college has taken initiative to construct a girl’s hostel in its premises with the generous assistance of UGC funds. The construction of the hostel is in progress and is likely to be completed in a short period of time.
