The Department of Veterinary Parasitology at VC & RI, Namakkal was established in the year 1985. On staff are one Professor, three Associate Professors, two Assistant Professors and two attendants. The department offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Veterinary Parasitology. Undergraduate courses are offered in the second year of B.V.Sc course. During 1993, this department was recognized as a post graduate department for the award of M.V.Sc. degree and in 2006, this department started offering Ph.D., degree courses.
