Toms College of Engineering for Startups (TCE) is conducting B.Tech course with the approval of AICTE, affiliated to A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), located at Mattakara in Kottayam district of Kerala. It is situated in the heart of a tranquil, greenish virgin countryside, 16 kms away from Kottayam town. The entire campus is situated in a plot of sylvan beauty which provides a serene atmosphere for the students. The College is approved by AICTE New Delhi. The college provides highly qualified and experienced teaching faculty. Toms College of Engineering for Startups plans to inculcate the idea of entrepreneurship to the mindset of the students along with the normal curriculum of the Engineering Degree program which is the requirement of the present and future. TCE is an Engineering college in traditional disciplines with the introduction of entrepreneurship education as an add-on to the university engineering curriculum. Entrepreneurship education is considered as one way of shaping entrepreneurial skills, competencies, attitudes and culture as well as of facilitating entrepreneurial activities through university spin-offs called startups.
Digital Library: The Digital Library is equipped with multi-media systems with dedicated broadband internet. More than 100 CDs and other electronic resources in all topics is one of the key facilities in the digital library with which the students & faculty members are exposed to the state-of-the-art technologies in the field of engineering & technology. Other facilities incorporated to the digital library services include Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC), Internet Facility, Multi Media Facility, Smart Card Based Bar-coded Transactions etc.
