School for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering(SAME) is promoted by InterGlobe Group, is approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, to offer a three year Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course in the Mechanical and Avionics Stream. SAME aims to be the finest school for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering in India, offering a world-class education and practical knowledge, fully meeting the standards of the Director General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India. With its professional and internationally experienced faculty, backed by state-of-the art equipment and modern teaching aids, SAME will produce Aircraft Maintenance Engineering personnel of an outstanding quality and standard. SAME is located at Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, 40 km from the heart of Delhi, in Knowledge Park – III, at the same location where the InterGlobe Group also has a training facility for pilots named CAE Simulation Training Private Limited (CSTPL), in joint venture with CAE. CSTPL will also support SAME by sharing some of its relevant facilities with SAME Students.

Eligibility
All students who have passed their Class XII examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board or university or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% in Class are eligible to apply for SAME’s three-year program. All students who have appeared for the Class XII examination and whose results are not available by July will be considered as provisionally eligible subject to their having obtained 60% marks in their Class X examination and subject to their obtaining 50% marks in aggregate in the Class XII examination. In order to be eligible the student must also be generally medically-fit and should not suffer from color blindness and/or night blindness.

Admission Procedure
Admissions are through entrance test of SAME. The Application Form may be downloaded at Application Form, and can be filled up and submitted together with a Draft drawn on SAME for Rs. 1000/- towards Application Fees, at the SAME premises on any working day between 10 am and 4 pm. The Application Form and Draft may also be sent by postal mail. The Application Form may also be filled up and completed on-line at www.igesame.com and Rs.1000/- remitted online to SAME’s account

Other Details
AME training course in two streams - Mechanical stream (Aeroplane and Power plants) - comprising of Light Aeroplane (LA), Heavy Aeroplane (HA), Piston Engine (PE), Jet Engine (JE) and Avionics stream - comprising of Electrical System (ES), Instrument System (IS) and Radio Navigation System (RN).
Mechanical stream trains students to obtain an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s license with respect to maintaining an aircraft’s Airframe and Engine/s. The Avionics stream trains students to obtain an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s license with respect to maintaining an aircraft’s Electrical System, Instrument System and Radio Navigation System.
