Kunjukrishnan Nadar Memorial B.Ed College was founded by Mr.M.R.Reghuchandra Bal, the former excise minister of Kerala in 2006 .The college is named after the Late Kunjukrishnan Nadar , fornmer MLA of Kerala , a philanthropist whose leadership helped to provide good education and a level of empowerment to the people of Kanjiramkulam village. The college, which was inaugurated on August 24, 2006, maintains good discipline. The motto of the institution is Knowledge is to serve The College conducts Seminars and Symposia as part of its extension activities. The activities like debates and arts festival are carried out through various clubs and the college union. The institution also provides placement services for secondary school teachers.
