Deva Matha College, Kuravilangad, was founded on 3rd April 1964 under the inspiration of the Catholic Diocese of Palai by St. Mary’s Forane Church, Kuravilangad.
Located at Kuravilangad, in Kottayam District on a lush green eco-friendly campus of 12.5 acres/ 56585sq.mts, the college houses 7 Post-Graduate Departments and 7 Graduate Departments. In 1981, the Post Graduate Course in Commerce was started. P.G. courses in English and Malayalam were inducted in 1998 and 1999 respectively. Departments of Chemistry, Botany, Physics started PG programmes in 2002 and 2004 respectively. M. Sc. Mathematics, B. A. Communicative English and B. Com. with Taxation courses began in 2013. The College conducts 3 UGC aided ADD-ON Courses and 7 job-oriented certificate courses.
