CSI College for Legal Studies, Kanakkary, Kottayam (CSICLS) is a self financing law college affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and approved by the Bar Council of India.
The courses offered in CSICLS are B.A.LL.B(Honours) and B.Com.LL.B(Honours) degree programmes which require a regular study for ten semesters in a period of five academic years.The medium of instruction and examination is English.
The eco-friendly campus of CSICLS is located at Kanakkary beside the Ettumanoor –Ernakulam State High Way.
Library :Perceiving the key role of library in a legal education centre CSICLS has set up a well equipped library with ample facilities for reading, reference and research. The library has an excellent collection of books, periodicals, law reports and journals. Photo copying facility is provided in the library.
computer lab:The college has a fully equipped computer lab with free internet facility and online international data base resources of law reports, statutes and law reviews.
Moot Court Hall:CSICLS is equipped with a state-of-the-art Moot Court Hall capable of hosting inter collegiate moot court competitions.
Legal Aid Clinic:The Legal Aid Clinic of CSICLS has all the required facilities and it functions under the supervision of two faculty members.
Conference hall:The fully equipped conference hall of CSICLS caters to all the requirements of academic and administrative meetings.
Hostel Facility
Hostel facility is provided for both girls and boys.
