Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering is a new age, multi-disciplinary institute offering a portfolio of courses in Engineering, Computer Applications and Management streams. Computing Facility:Well equipped with the latest hardware and software infrastructure to cater to the computing needs of all students and faculty. Our Internet centre provides NET access through Asianet's and BSNL's dedicated fibre optic cable having 2Mbps bandwidth. The client computers have Windows and Linux environment to enable students to access the resources of the Internet.
Library: Our library is a unique treasure house of valuable and up-to-date knowledge base that provides the fullest achievable range of information, so that students and faculty alike may pursue knowledge, beyond the boundaries of the classroom. The fundamental importance of strong and diverse library resources to quality education is self-evident. We have a well-furnished general library and separate departmental libraries. The general library houses 37000 volumes of books and holds a spacious reading room, reference section, journal section, periodical section and CD Rom based information systems. In addition there are 300 National & International journals, 4656 e-journals including Science Direct, Springer, IEEE, ICFAI, ASCE, Emerld, Ebsco and Infotrac( IEC) publications etc and 5400 e-books.
D-Space Repository:With an aim to reach out to a worldwide audience and to enable easy and open access to all types of information from multiple sources and libraries, the college has installed D-Space Repository System, a patented most advanced e-learning facility developed by Hewlett Packard and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The collective intellectual works, both within SNGCE and globally through Internet is accessible to our students with the incorporation of the cutting edge D-Space digital repository system.
Conveyance Facility:A fleet of college buses ply from far flung destinations providing easy conveyance to both faculty and students. We have fifteen Hi-Tech college buses.Timely attendance in class and continence of travel makes this facility an instant hit among students and their parents. The college also owns an Innova and a van. Van is earmarked as emergency vehicle to cater to the needy sick people.
Fitness Centre:A one-of-a-kind fitness centre with latest equipment and work out machines is established within the campus where students get to rejuvenate after a hard day at academics.
Canteen An aesthetically designed hygienic canteen operates inside the campus that serves delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, snacks and soft drinks during the college hours.
Department Store:The college has set up the SNG department store inside the campus that caters to the day-to-day stationery requirements of the students and staff at economical rates.
Hostel Facility
By providing halls of residence is one way in which we make you feel at home away from home and take care of you. New generation hostels with modern amenities and facilities are provided for boys and girls within the campus. The boys' hostel accommodates 450 students and the girls' hostel has a capacity of 240 students. Rooms are spacious and airy with beds, desks and chairs and storage space. Food is provided by well known caterers.
