Bishop Abraham Memorial College started its dedicated service to the cause of higher education on 28th June 1965 with 13 teaching & 7 non teaching staff and 371 students. It is owned by the Bishop Abraham Memorial Trust Association registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Act (Act XII of 1955 as S No. 3 of 1965).

seminar hall: two full fledged seminar hall with LCD Projector, and smart board along with visualisor.
Chapel Service :Chapel service is held in the morning and at noon interval on every working day. It is highly encouraging that the students and the staff make use of this service regularly. Dr.Alex Mathew is in charge of the chapel service and religious studies.
College Choir :The College Choir consists of members from the faculty and students. Dr. Sini Jacob, Prof. Kavitha Jacob and Ms. Blessy gives leadership to the choir
Students Counselling Centre :The Counselling centre aims to build up a mature understanding among studentstowards life. It organises programmes to improve one's ability to interact with others. It helps them to find realistic and workable solutions to their problems. The centre also provides counselling facility. It is a home for each student to share his/her feelings and thus to feel at ease. Dr. Anitha Thomas and Prof. Viji George are the teachers in charge of the centre.
Career Guidance Centre and Placement Cell :This center is intended to give guidance for career opportunities to students. Centre also conducts various programmes for personality development of students. Dr.Thomson K Alex is in charge of this centre.

Mr. George Thomas (IIIath) Memorial Endowment
Awarded to one student from B A and one from B.Sc who have scored not less than 50% marks in their qualifying examination.

Kesavapurath Philipose Memorial Endowment
(Instituted by Sri. K.P.Samuel, Kesavapurathu, Kollaka, Karunagappally, shall be awarded to the deserving student who is economically backward in nature belongs to St. Thomas Evangelical Church of India.
