Pookoya Thangal Memorial (P.T.M.) Government College

Pookoya Thangal Memorial (P.T.M.) Government College, Perinthalmanna was established in July 1975.The College committee acquired 25.01 acres of land, 3 kms away from Perinthalmanna at Pathaikkara, a serene and picturesque spot, in 1979 and the college was shifted to present campus on 10.12.1987. The college was upgraded as Degree College from the academic year 1991-92 and PG Course started during 2001-02. The College has been included under Sections 2(f) & 12(B) of UGC act since 2007.

Library : The College Library is under the general supervision of the Librarian and the ultimate control of the Principal. The College Library includes: • General Library • Departmental Libraries The General Library and Departmental Libraries are sub-divided to a) Lending Section b) Reference Section c) Consulting Section
Computer Lab: This lab is meant for conducting practical classes for complimentary courses of B.Sc. Mathematics and Physics programmes. Students from all departments can make use of this lab for the preparation of their practical’s, project work, assignments and seminars
