Priyadarshini Arts and Science College

PASC is a self-financing institution approved by the Government of Kerala and affiliated to the University of Calicut. The fee structure, admission policy and the academic calendar examination etc are strictly as per the rules and regulations laid down by the Government of Kerala and the affiliating University from time to time. The campus is located within Malappuram Municipality, at Melmuri 2.5km off Kozhikode Palakkad national highway. The campus is spread over 11 acres of verdant land surrounded by virgin woods and hillocks. The sylvan surroundings, serene atmosphere and the salubrious climate are most conducive for the physical and mental growth and well being of the students. The campus is designed an maintained in the most eco-friendly manner.

Llibrary :College provides facility to all students for reading and borrowing books. Now the library has more than 60,000 books and subscribes to a number of dailies and periodicals. All operations are computerized and a new library software is introduced. An eclectic collection of books and a large number of periodicals.Digitalised Llibrary and spacious Reading Hall.
College bus:college buses provide the students with transportation facility from the nearby towns and villages. As part of our social responsibility we have a college bus with a lift to enable the students with physical disabilities and those using wheelchairs to enter the bus easily.
Play Ground:The college provides facilities to students to pursue a wide range of sporting activities on the campus. The outdoor facilities include athletics, football and cricket fields. Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis and badminton courts and an indoor recreation hall for table tennis, chess, carom, etc... Wide ranges of sports facilities are available for indoor and outdoor games. A multipurpose hall and a Gym are also constructed in the campus for various indoor sports and various activities.
Canteen :Canteen fasciitis are available to students and staff. The canteen provide food to students at subsidized rates. The parent teacher association provide free midday meals to needy students. This is also operated through the canteen.
College Store:The College Store is equipped with all necessary items required for the students, like notebooks, stationary and office items, together with a moderate food court
 
 Hostel Facility
Boys Hostel BOYS’ HOSTEL at Priyadarshini College renders distinct hostel amenities for the First Year Students can sustain more than 100 students. At most, a maximum of three members are allotted to each room. Separations are provided for reading rooms in each floor which is partitioned from a common room present for enjoying television. There is a badminton court, football ground and a table tennis table enclosed to boys’ hostel where the students can rehearse games and do exercises. Every floor has a resident warden from teaching staffs who blends the right balance to keeps attention of the students and at the same time monitor good discipline within the hostel insights. Girls Hostel GIRLS’ HOSTEL at Priyadarshini College are provided with exquisite amenities inside the college campus. The ladies` hostel can have room for more than 120 members. The hostel is allotted with luxurious mess halls and study halls. First year students have distinct wing in the hostel. Gentle wardens and firm security assures a soothing stay, permissing students to spotlight on their studies.
