Mar Osthatheos Training College, Perumpilavu is a self financing B.Ed. college under the management of Mar Osthatheos Charities Trust, Kunnamkulam. The Charities Trust Started in the year 1965, has got years of experience in the field of Education. The campus is spread over an area of about five acres, T.M.V.H.S.S. and Teacher Training Institute is located in this campus. The college was established in 2005 with the approval of National Council of Teacher Education, the Government of Kerala and affiliated to University of Calicut. The total intake of this College is 100 students in six optional subjects- English, Mathematic, Physical Science, Natural Science, Social Science and Commerce. Mar Osthatheos B.Ed College is a flourishing institution in the jurisdiction of Kunnamkulam. Our main objective is to impart quality teacher education and provide good academic support to the student teachers. The motto of our college is “light,love,life”. The college has been renowned for its excellent academic performances of the students in the university examinations and other curricular and co- curricular activities.

Techonology Resource Center: This resource center with all its modern technology equipments and aids is an important asset of the institution. Students can make use of various equipments like LCD and OHP projectors, Multimedia computers, and Digital cameras for study, presentations and lots more.
Library: Our library holds an impressive collection of all the important and relevant titles in almost areas of knowledge needed for an educator. Students also get to read almost all notable periodicals and newspapers and can effectively make use of our lending facility.
IT Center:Established with the aim to familiarize our students with the latest developments in Information Technology that is relevant to an educator in these fast changing times. We make it a point to equip the future educators who graduate from here with the skill in Information and Communication Technology which would be an inevitable part of the learning process of future generations. Students can also make use of the 24 hr internet facility here.
Career Guidance Cell:Not all students may want the same kind of teaching jobs. Their preferences and aspirations may vary. In order to guide them to the right choice we have established a career guidance wing with counsellors and a wide choice of reference and other materials.
Language Laboratory:Effective communication between the teachers and students is very important and it is from the way that teachers speak that children learn the good use of language. Our language lab takes care of the phonetics skills of our students who are also future teachers.
Productive Skills Workshop:Almost every one is gifted with one productive skill or the other like painting, craft works, cooking, gardening etc. We conduct workshops in many such areas so that the life skills of our students may be enhanced.
