Arafa Institute for Teacher Education is a self-financing B.Ed college established in 2005 by Arafa Charitable Trust and recognized by NCTE and affiliated to Calicut University. The B.Ed course of duration 1 year, has an intake of 100 students in 5 optional subjects viz, English, Mathematics, Natural Science, Physical Science and Social science. The Institute has entrusted itself to promote quality education through innovative ways and laudable exposures to participate in national building.
The B.Ed College is located in Arafanagar 500 mtr from Attur bus stop in Thrissur – Shoranur, State Highway which is 26 kms from Thrissur and 5 kms from Shoranur. The residential area around and greenery environment campus makes it and ideal location for educational endeavours.
