The Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) was started in the year 2004 with the aim of offering programs empowering professionals with critical management and entrepreneurial competencies, transforming them to be globally competitive and socially committed business managers capable of owning, operating and managing enterprises of global standards.
The green campus is situated in a well maintained serene environment at Pottore on the North Eastern side of Thrissur, about seven kilometers from Swaraj Round. IMT Thrissur is owned by WESTFORT HIGHER EDUCATION TRUST (WHET).
Library: The library is well organized by following the dewey decimal classification for cataloging. This cataloging method facilitates the finding of any book without employing an extensive search and also to return it to its proper place in the library shelves without any rummaging. Besides we also employ a computerized cataloging system.The library is exquisitely furnished providing spaces to sit and read or work. Any library needs a set of rules to be followed by all its beneficiaries so as to keep it well maintained and to conserve it as a place of quietness, calmness and serenity.
Canteen :Our campus has a spacious and clean canteen which provides refreshments as well as multi cuisine dishes. Adequate food safety measures along with constant assessment are employed to ensure the quality and purity of food served.
Transportations: For enabling commutation of students and staff the college keeps a well maintained fleet of buses which touches almost all the urban and suburban centers in and around Thrissur during their routine pick-up or drop journey making the college accessible to all its members without much huff and puff.
Computer lab: State of the art computer labs for MBA and MCA programs are available to meet present and future needs.Students are provided hands on experience using the latest programming languages and tools.
Hostel Facility
Hostel: Our college hostel promotes an ambience of friendship, togetherness with a consistent omnipresence of values and principles regarding acceptance and tolerance. Without wavering from the prime focus of academic studies the hostel provides facilities for recreation.
