Malabar Institute of Technology, ISO 9001-2008 certified,an integrated campus situated in the 250 acres of lush green cinnamon belt at Anjarakandy, houses premium educational institutions, Super Specialty Hospital, Kannur Medical College,Dental College, College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy, Institute of Paramedical Sciences and Institute of Engineering & Technology.
The campus is located at the western tip of the Malabar Cost, Kannur District, State of Kerala, bordering with Karnataka-Kerala High way. Engineering & Technology Campus was established in 2010 and offers degree courses in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Science Engineering. M.Tech courses are available in Computer Science and Electronics branch. All courses are approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and State Government. The Engineering College (Malabar Institute of Technology) is affiliated to Kannur University.
Central library:The well facilitated and spacious Central Library, which quenches the thirst of knowledgeable seekers, has a voluminous collection of books on science and technology, personality development, career guidance, as well as national and international journals, magazines, newspapers and periodicals and a number of reference materials that help eager students.
Transport Facilities:To facilitate the transportation of students and staff of this institution bus services are provided to Kannur, Thalasseri, and Koothuparambu. These service are very much helpful to the students and staff for their journey to and from the college and various industrial visits in connection with the curriculum. The students are issued identity cum Bus Pass during the admission process.
CCF:The CCF provides high speed internet access to staff and students alike. It is equipped with more than 30 high end computers for various purposes. It is controlled and coordinated by a high end HP server.
Seminar Hall:Seminar halls which can accommodate about 150 students are available for each department in the campus. They are well equipped with multimedia projectors and audio systems. Events such as small meetings and intra department level seminars, workshops etc. are organized here.
Prayer Hall:There are separate spacious Prayer Halls for girls and boys inside the campus.
Hostel Facility
