Sri Lakshmi Ammal engineering College was established in the year 2001 under Sri Lakshmi Ammal Educational Trust. The college is one of the top engineering colleges in ZONE-IV of Anna university.
Since its inception there was 105 students in the departments of CSE, EEE, ECE , & ICE. During 2010 PG courses in applied electronics and additional UG courses in mechanical engineering were established. In 2011 the intake for UG courses were increased from 60 to 120 and civil engineering department were extabilished. The College has well equipped labs, ac library, smart classrooms and highly qualified staff members. The institution is spread across 30 acres and has a strength of around 800 students and 110 staffs.
The College has been accredited with “A” grade from National Assessment and Accredition council in year 2013. The students are placed in top companies. The College offers Under Graduate , Post Graduate programmes in Engineering and technology. The college has MOU’s with various top companies and specialized coaching for Civil Services Exam are given for students. Every Student is offered with a offer Letter from the day one of joining the course.
