University College of Engineering Arni, a constituent college of Anna university, starts functioning from the year 2009 at Thatchur located near by to Arni, town of Thiruvannamalai District. The present annual intake for first year UG programme is 300 and the total strength of students during 2013-2014 is about 1058. In fact, University College of Engineering Arni was included in the counseling list of the colleges by August 2009 and we are very proud to state that, for the past 5 years, all the allotted counseling seats for the college got completely filled up and currently we have a total of 1058 students. Of them, 620 are boys and 438 are girls. Among them 169 boys and 177 girls are hostel students. As of now, the institution offers four undergraduate programmes
College Bus: For the transportation of the students, a college bus has been provided for the University College of Engineering Arni.
Campus Wide Network: Both wired and wireless network access (wifi) is available with the high speed internet connectivity of bandwidth 12 MBPS. Wifi connectivity for the entire campus is also enabled in the campus for the access of internet facility at any time to all students.
Reverse Osmosis Plant: Reverse Osmosis(RO) Plant is provided inside the campus to enable secured drinking water.
Hospital facilities: In order to facilitate the proper medical care for both the day scholars and hostel students of University College of Engineering Arni, there exists an upgraded Primary Health Centre (PHC) nearby to the college campus. The hospital is well established with all required medical equipments.
