ILS Law College was established in 1924 and affiliated to the University of Bombay. With the establishment of the University of Pune in 1949, the college was affiliated to it, and today it is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Pune. ILS Law College is one of the first colleges in India to start legal education in its true sense.
Library: College has separate building for Library with 60,000 bound volume of books, International and national journals, periodicals. College have electronic data base of law reports.
