Dr.B.R.Ambedkhar Educational Trust was established, in the year 1994, to provide quality technical education for the rural students of Vellore District of Tamilnadu. As a first step, R.I.T POLYTECHNIC was established in the year 1994. Then the Trust established RANIPPETTAI ENGINEERING COLLEGE in the year 1999.
Transport :The buses are available to the students and staff for commuting not only from various parts of the city but also from the suburbs to the College campus and back.
