M.S.Ramaiah Insitute of Nursing Educatin and Research was founded in 1987 and has been Recognized by Govt. of Karnataka, Karnataka Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council and Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka.
In keeping with the spirit of independence and the euphoria it generated , Sri M.S.Ramaiah felt that he had to contribute to the much needed growth of our country. He believed that education has to be the solid base on which India should build its socio-political and economic edifice. Without adequate opportunities for professional education the ambitions and talents of many bright students were nipped in the bud. It is against this backdrop, for furthering the cause of professional education, that Sri M.S.Ramaiah established the Gokula Education Foundation (GEF) in the early sixties.
Medical Skills lab:This Cadaveric Research and Training unit has been developed with the intention to provide opportunity to learn in a "Operation theatre" like atmosphere and a 'near life' like specimen to work on.
library : We have added 160 new Nursing books worth rupees 3 lakhs to our existing books and subscribed three more Journals at National and International levels to the existing 17 Journals. Our Library is computerized too, providing e-library with internet facility. In fact, we have also establish departmental library. MSRINER also has E-Library with HELINET Facility, computers with high speed internet which enable students to download and review scientific presentations, seminars and publications.
Audio Visual Aids: M.S.Ramaiah Institute of Nursing Education & Research has a well-equipped Audio-Visual Aids department headed by a Senior Faculty member.
Hostel Facility
Hostel facility is available only for girls. Students are accommodated in spacious, well-ventilated rooms provided with all the necessary comforts. They have a separate mess managed by the students themselves.
