SCAD Institute of Technology was established in the year 2012 with the vision to train the young enthusiastic engineers to inculcate technical and entrepreneurial training and to bestow the quality education for the betterment of our nation.

Buildings: The College main building includes the academic and the administrative space, with well-equipped laboratories in various departments. The class rooms are spacious and creates an atmosphere to specialize the students to acquire education through well-equipped class rooms.The labs are accommodated in their respective departments.
Computer LAN: The college has very good support facilities in the form of a campus-wide Local Area Network. The departmental computer-to-students ratio works out to 1:2.4 for the college. A large number of leased software packages are available in each department to meet the specific requirements. The college has 4Mbps Broad Band Leased line internet connectivity.
Internet: A 4 Mbps leased line from BSNL, broad band connectiion and provides 24-hr Internet facility for the students and staff. The Wi-Fi campus provides anywhere - anytime internet, local area network access.
Canteen: A fully mechanized, hygienic canteen offers food at subsidized rates. A mini shop is available on campus offering snacks and soft drinks. A shop that stores different kinds of stationary required by the students is made available for the benefit of the students.
Medical Facility: A first aid kit is available to take care of minor ailments. In addition, a vehicle is stationed to transport students to the nearest medical facility in case of emergencies.
Girls waiting Hall: A well-furnished lounge offers a conducive atmosphere for girls to rest and relax when required.
Seminar Hall: SCAD Institute of Technology has a well-equipped Seminar Hall in the college building that can accommodate over 200 people and another spacious Indoor Auditorium that can house over 1200 people.
AC Conference Hall: SCAD Institute of Technology has a well-equipped Air-Conditioned Conference Hall in the main building of the college.
Sports & Games: The College encourages both indoor and outdoor games, and provides a varied range of facilities to the students. The campus has spacious play grounds and encourages sports such as cricket, basket-ball, football, volleyball, throw ball and Ball Badminton. Students are encouraged to play sports of their interest under the expert guidance of qualified physical directors.
Communication & Transport: College Bus facilities are provided form various destination to ensure safe and comfortable journey and time management. Bus facilities to the college premises from Coimbatore, Avinashi, Pollachi, Udumalai, and Kangeyam are available. Students are asked to make use of the facility. Students are allowed to travel by college bus with the given bus pass and they have to renew their passes within the due date.
Power & water supply: The electrical supply by TNEB provides ample power for the campus needs. There are two 65.2 KVA generator to generate the power supply in times of power cut. There are bore wells on campus that provide sufficient water to the college. Each floor is provided with a water cooler.
Central Library: SCAD Institute of Technology has an excellent library for the benefit of students and faculties. There are a vast number of collections of books available according to branches of Engineering, Science and general books. It includes more than 5000 volumes and 1600 titles. The library resource center is fully automated and for this we have specialized user friendly. Library availed of lips software. The transaction is carried out using Bar Coded technology. It has the facility of Web OPAC-online search. And the library is being subscribed to the E-resources. The leading newspapers of our country are regularly subscribed in our Central Library.
Laboratories: The laboratories in the College form an integral part of their respective Departments and feature advanced facilities on par with those in the premier institutions in country. The Central Computer Lab in the College is also a full-fledged and futuristic resource-centre with nearly 300 nodes connected to the campus-wide LAN.
Language Lab: The College has a state-of-the-art English Language Laboratory that aims at the English language proficiency and communication skills of students, as these skills are so essential to fare better not only in academics at the college but also in the career of their choice.
Auditorium: To facilitate organization of conferences, carnivals and large-scale congregations within the Campus, SCAD Institute of Technology has a well-furnished Air-Conditioned Seminar Hall in the College building that can accommodate over 300 people and a huge Indoor Auditorium that can house over 1200 people
Hostel Facility
This institution provides a comfortable and safe housing to all its students. The students housed in the campus are encouraged to use the playground and all indoor gaming facilities. The hostels provide a safe, secure and homely accommodation for the students with good standards in Mess, Room keeping and Reading rooms for boys and girls
